2nd Generation IT Institute proudly marked a historic milestone on February 7, 2025, with its inaugural graduation ceremony at its ultra-modern IT centre in Adabraka. The event celebrated the achievements of dedicated graduates and inspired them to embark on successful careers in the ever-evolving tech industry.
The ceremony was graced by Bishop Frederick Asamoah, a distinguished Legal Expert, Founder of Nissi Consult, and Provincial Bishop of Victory Bible Church, Excellence Sanctuary, Odorkor. In his keynote address, he emphasized how the world is rapidly becoming a digital space and highlighted the growing demand for IT skills. He encouraged graduates to stay ahead of technological advancements to remain competitive in the job market. He also commended the students for their dedication and perseverance in completing their courses despite the challenges they faced.
The General Manager, Mr. Richard Yao Dzidzah, applauded the students for their commitment and hard work. He encouraged them to continue learning and expanding their IT expertise, emphasizing that education does not end at graduation but is a lifelong journey.
Addressing the graduates, Mr. Ferdnard Asamoah, Founder and CEO of 2nd Generation IT Institute, congratulated them on their outstanding achievements. He reaffirmed his vision of providing practical, hands-on IT training and creating opportunities for individuals to gain real world skills. Expressing his appreciation for the staff, he commended their dedication to equipping students with industry relevant knowledge and encouraged them to keep pushing boundaries in IT education.
The graduates included students from St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High, Accra Wesley Girls’ High School, and Nungua Senior High School, who, after completing their WASSCE, were selected for the Web Development Scholarship Programme for SHS students across Greater Accra, launched in 2024. They graduated alongside students from the Computing, Data Analytics, and Web Development courses, showcasing the institute’s dedication to expanding IT education and nurturing talent at all levels.
As 2nd Generation IT Institute continues its mission to bridge the digital skills gap, this graduation ceremony marks just the beginning of many more success stories.
